Lakeshore African Violet Society did not have an annual show in 2014. Instead participated in the African Violet Society of Canada's 2014 Convention and Show staged by our friends at Toronto African Violet Society April 23-26, 2014. Please click on the logo above to get further information about this Convention and Show. We hope our Lakeshore AVS public will rejoin us at our Spring 2015 show.

In an African violet show, in addition to finding plants entered individually, you will find them entered in certain classes called "Collection Classes". This Group of Three semiminiatures is an example.

Streptocarpus 'Bristol's Luv It' is but one example of another gesneriad. There will be many of them at the show in addition to African violet plants.

This Year's Show

Our 2015 show is coming up, Saturday, April 25, 2015 at St. Philip's Lutheran Church, 61 West Deane Park Drive in Toronto.

If you are interested in African violets or plants in general, we hope you will attend this year. There are beautiful plants to see and if you haven't met us before, you may find new plant-loving friends.
